AGREE!!! I read paper books, but also listen to audiobooks. How else could I absorb all the information I NEED to learn if I can't listen to books while gardening, cooking, showering, or driving?!?!

Maybe people who think audiobooks are not reading are jealous because they are sitting still. I can listen to an audiobook and fold laundry, wash dishes, paint, walk my dog. Physical books not so much

If readers and listeners can both discuss the books and retain the content, what's the difference? It's also ableist! Some people use audiobooks because they aren't physically able to read.
