Don't ever do this. Synching causes way more issues. Just make a shortcut.to your onedrive. Works the same but you don't download the whole sharepoint location..

That is not recommended at all! Use Add shortcut to OneDrive instead.The sync feature it’s not working as expected and the risk of losing your files by mistake is high.I hope that Ms will deprecate it

It's a good feature, but only works well with a small number of files. Any changes on a large scale take hours to sync.

Until you hit 300k synced files over OneDrive and teams.. which goes faster then you think. Good luck

Not true for where I work. we have TONS of channels and files and it all syncs fine. we never have issues.

Teams is trash in corporate America and the admin teams has full control on features and use. Recording video i\from meeting is 16 fps??? why even allow that??? Teams is pure 🗑️
