So why can't you just drop the tank and clean out the tank and fuel pump? Then put fuel pump back in and open fuel lines to flush the lines, to get all the metal out. Then also clean the injectors?

Haha starting fluid…. And he’s a “gm guy”😂 one of my techs come to me, and told me he used starting fluid on a customers truck he would be fired.. but wait, you allow that… 🤦🏻♂️

I will start off by saying I have 2 GM trucks.... but GM needs to change their ways with CP4 and AFM in the gas engines. they know these are problems and keep producing the same crap.

At an old shop I worked at I did a service on a newer durmax and there was metal in the fuel filter housing and I got told it was fine and to put it back together clearly not fine

I’ve never ever used starting fluid to start a duramax in 10 years of being at GM dealers. If it’s an LML get it over with and pull off the regulator.

Nobody needs a diesel! Gassers get the job done! For a hell of a lot less and less maintenance! We got rid all are diesels ! It’s been the best decision
