Depends on who you ask. If you ask a person who is ambitious when it comes to money, USA is the place to be. If you want to live a good life with good social security, Europe is the way to go.

Europe is a great place to be poor and the U.S. is a great place to be rich. Europeans also struggle with a historical resentment of wealth. This does occur in the U.S., but not nearly as often.
