My husband’s step dad never referred to him and his brother as my “step sons” they were always his boys. Period. He raised them as his own. And husband loved him as his dad.

me and my husband are both "step parents" but when you ask me how many kids I have, I'll tell you I have 5 kids. we don't do the "step" thing.
