Its a situation that changes on context. Look, if a guy likes you doesn't mean its because it objectifies you all the time. Sometimes we see beyond and like your personality and how confortable you are with that person. I believe that slow burn sometimes its better than just first hand attraction based on superficial features. And its not like you can control that. I think its best for both parties to assume it in a mature way. If they don't, then even as a friend it wouldn't have worked. of course there are boundaries. For once think this,men do not recieve almost any female attention on a general basis, if you hate the idea of a male friend liking you then make sure the guy has many female friends or date regularly.
