(warning: distressing) Producers of 'Below Deck Down Under' broke the 4th wall as cameras were rolling to stop a potential incident of sexual assault in its tracks. Now, 2 members of the series have been fired. The incident took place after crew members had gone out for dinner and drinks in Cairns, Australia. Over the course of 2 episodes, viewers could see that the cast participated in lots of drinking while out, with third stew Margot Sisson saying at one point that she was 'really drunk.' Sisson and bosun Luke Jones were sitting together in the cab ride home when Jones tried to proposition her, saying, 'You should come and cuddle with me.' Sisson declined. But later, an intoxicated Jones climbed into Sisson’s bed, completely naked, while she was asleep. It was then that production intervened, asking Jones to leave the room. Jones refused and became volatile towards producers, before eventually exiting. The chief steward then told Captain Jason Chambers, who removed Jones from the boat. Later, second stew Laura Bileskalne, who attempted to massage deckhand Adam Kodra the previous night before producers removed her from his room, continuously pressed Sisson about the incident, saying, 'I should have just kept him happy. If he comes naked in my cabin, I’d be like, ‘Hello! Yes!’' She also attempted to defend Jones, saying, 'He wouldn’t rape you or anything … He’s a sexual person.' She then shifted the blame to Sisson, saying, 'It’s not that you said no to him the whole night … He felt welcomed coming there.' Scott then told Captain Chambers what Bileskalne said, adding that her behavior toward Kodra was 'very inappropriate, borderline sexual harassment.'
