@interestingengineering: Alef Aeronautics announced this groundbreaking achievement in the development of flying cars, conducting the first-ever test in an urban environment. This is the first ever test of a car driving and vertically taking off in a city environment. They performed this test using an ultralight version of their Alef Model Zero flying car. The test took place on a closed-off city road in a lowly populated area, with the vehicle flying over another car to simulate an emergency traffic-blocking situation.
