I feel of them are usually trying to have a visual moment for the chorus. So unless you watched the visual, it sometimes won’t hit how it should and the music gets heavily affected by that.

I love a big chorus! It always hypes me up and if a song has a full 3 choruses then I def want that big sound to carry through esp in a pop/dance song. And I miss key changes in the last chorus

I feel like this could be a symptom of the trend of pop singers not singing with their full voice as much - used to be the chorus was when they’d SANG but there’s more whisper/baby voice singing.
