@freeridewtour: Ever wondered how our team secures a venue for a competition? 👀 Before a FWT competition can take place, extensive avalanche control and safety checks are carried out to ensure a stable and secure venue. One key tool in our safety arsenal is the DaisyBell, a heli-portable system that allows us to trigger controlled slides and stabilize the snowpack with precision. 🚁 On February 22nd, we used the DaisyBell on Kaseb, where significant slides confirmed the face was unsafe for competition. Now, our mountain safety team has turned its focus to Kakhiani, where additional stabilization work is underway to prepare for a competition later this week. With safety as our top priority, our team takes every measure to ensure the safest conditions possible for riders, staff, and spectators.
