Ummm, so they got a fake replacement… that’s a stretch, saying that they sell cars with fake systems. Dealerships are not the brand and it sounds like the dealership service center is the issue.

Corrupt car dealer. Always check your car when you get it back. I had Macklin Motors East do something similar. Took my car in and got it back but the remote fobnwas all scratched & damaged.

Many repair shops steal the original expensive audio and put a aftermarket in. There are many stories out there where stuff like this happens

2019 Volvo V60 with B&W here in the U.S, my sound systems is on full blast every day for the past 4 years, no distortion or malfunction, I def got the real one haha

OEM sound systems are all fake. The manufacturer pays to use the brand name and they have basically nothing to do with the actual sound
