Hot springs that you hike in to. Also Mimbres Hot Springs Ranch. Not too far away: Faywood Hot Springs and San Francisco Hot Springs; City of the Rocks State Park. Silver City is also cool .

That spot, at night, is amazing! You can see lights of several towns and cities from Emory Pass. Oh, and a billion stars in the sky!

You’re actually in the Aldo Leopold wilderness of the black range in the Gila in National Forest. The Gila wilderness is just to the west. I live there, near Reserve NM in Aragon.
