Your parents are exactly the same as mine. None of us grew into alcoholics. None of us smoke or took drugs. I'm so grateful for them. We were truly blessed.

With alcohol, my parents did the same. When I asked dad why later in life, he said “the fun of it for kids was sneaking it from their parents, we took the fun of it away. 🤷🏻♀️” It worked.🤣

Mum always offered for my sisters friend group to get ready at our place, feed them a massive amount of Lasanaga and garlic bread then drop them to their parties. They never drank on an empty stomach!

I once asked my dad how he’d react if I’d snuck a boy into my room trough the window his reaction “well I think that’s a bit rude of you, just let the poor guy use the front door” and I gues that sums up my dad.
