When it comes to glassing from the truck or utv, the steel inserts allow significant stability for heavier optics & having the ability to remove those and have a 3lb. backpacking tripod makes it all the better. The diveristy of the JC makes it a solid option for those who do a lot of hunting, guiding and/or traveling. I’m a huge fan of the side to side panning knob. It allows you to really slow down and glass smoothly. It’s especially helpful when taking video of moving game through your optics. Over all, 10/10. Your gear is an investment and this is a product I stand behind.
