guys you don't necessarily have to give up food, you could just give up sodas, a bad habit, social media,... Lent is to grow closer to the Lord, so pray daily, read your Bible etc

People saying not to give up food but other things, that may work but for me it's WAY easier to fast than to give up only certain foods, like I can not eat them, but I'm not eating anything else eithe

For those with question. No you don’t need to NOT eat during specific times. Yes ideally you should cut out all meat and dairy and egg. Discuss with your priest how to approach
