Panto season at Everyman the accessible way! I had such a brilliant time at the panto. As a blind person who loves theatre, i'd been put off by the lack of accessibility in the theatre world. But it's brilliant to know that local theaters are doing everything they can to make things as accessible as possible! Touch tours and audio description, holds a special place in my heart! Some of the props are handed to seren and you can see her feeling all the intricate details such as a bright orange wig a A lamp and a sparkly red jumpsuit with orange stars and a small red and orange waistcoat as well as a large costume shaped like a slot machine. The panto has a las Vegas theme and the set is blue and gold. Seren is then seen walking down towards her seat in the audience and then various clips of showing off the set and the ornate theatre and lighting. She is then handed an audio description headset, which she puts on and then is seen talking to the team at the front while they sort out some technical issues. Later, after a brownie and a drink, you can see lights being projected across the ceiling as confetti falls down all around the audience. Finally, the actors are seen dancing in their brightly coloured costumes, and the video ends with Aladdin running off the stage after shouting see you later everyone.
