It isn’t a kick in the teeth. If you can’t afford to pay your bas monthly there is something wrong. You should be putting it away as you earn it, that’s how people get into these problems in the first place so making people pay it monthly instead of quarterly is actually helping them as now they won’t have to hold k to it for 3 months and be tempted to use it for something else. Otherwise you just shouldn’t be running a business period!

This will kill a lot of small businesses, especially in the construction industry where people are waiting for clients to pay between 30 to 90 days

How about they increase the 75k threshold to 150k for small businesses. it hasn't been increased since 2007. 75k is ridiculous. that amount qualifies a family gor welfare yet classed as high turnover. just a joke.
