If you think you think you saw me go inside... No you didn't... I've been debating about weather I should post this video for a while. I've been a little self conscious about these exposures only because I shot them on a camera that I'm not used to. All of these exposures were shot on a Mini Diana. I was inspired by @Anna.s.snapshots to try out a toy camera. Just my luck that a co-worker of mine gave me a camera to play around with. The Mini Diana was a lot of fun to play with but I messed up a lot of frames just because I was still learning all the quirks of this camera. It tends to shoot off center to the right a little so I had to crop in on a lot of these photos to make them more accurate to the way that I originally perceived them. In addition, the shutter is a little finicky. it's on the side of the lens and it's spring loaded in such a way that makes the whole camera jump when you press it. A significant portion of my frames came out with motion blur because of this. This may sound silly but I think that the solution is using a shutter release cable and shooting handheld (which I probably will experiment with). Honestly, the distortion that I get on this lens doesn't bother me much. It's soft but not distracting. And it produces negatives just about the way that. I expected. This toy camera is actually way easier to work with than I originally thought. Before using it I thought that I would take home Zero usable photos. But instead I have a few here. I'm happy with my first experience. Gear: @lomography Film: @psychedelic_blues_film #film #photography #abandoned #psychedelic
