My kids are well behaved and I do everything you mentioned, but I also feel like I just lucked out and have generally easy kids.

Consistency. I’m flexible but I v rarely change up on core expectations. My 15 yo old said I always thought I were strict but ure really not u just don’t change ur mind all the time. Bingo!

I think this list is so valid but we have to be careful when stating that a child’s behavior is a result of parenting because it is so much more complicated than that! There are so many other factors

Always give reasons when saying no. All I heard growing up was “no. Because I said so” like no that’s not a real reason🙄
