Many of us are or know of someone who is struggling with physical and/or spiritual and mental battles right now... That said, I wanted to share this little idea that I started recently...a care kit 💡 This particular one is made in mind for someone who is battling seizures and filled with stuff to help with recovery and prevention, but items are useful for other things and/or can be swapped out for something else. I filled a 60oz jug with liquid IV packets, protein powder, protein bars, ChapStick, and anything I could think of that's helped me recover from the same things. But in addition to helping the physical, I want to emphasize the importance of addressing the spiritual as well.... With that thought in mind, I got into my Bible and looked up several scriptures on breakthrough, healing, prayer, etc. to spread encouragement and love. I put each scripture on a brightly covered index card and placed them in the jug too, for my friend to have in those moments where they may need just a bit more encouragement and prayers 🙏 I'm not sharing this for recognition, but because I see a need for us all to reach out to each other and strengthen each other in love and prayers. You don't have to do the same thing, but this is one way you can uplift someone. Know somebody with the flu? Drop off a box of tissues and soup with a little note of prayer and encouragement. Not a physical battle but one of the mind and spirit? Hand them a note and something cheerful. Take them to lunch and spend time lending an ear and prayers... It's small gestures and prayers that bring fellowship, closeness, and strength 💞 My prayer is that by sharing this, it encourages someone to do the same for others 😇 #spreadlove #prayers #encouragement #ironsharpensiron⚔️ #carekitwithlove #sweetssugarshack💜 #fyp
