@j.sprays: Aerifying is punching holes into the grass. We’re using these tines to aerify our field next week as part of our offseason recovery program. It’ll be followed by top dressing, which is covering the field in sand, then we’ll drag it in. We have different types of tines, and typically we’d be coring (the tines I removed) to pull up the soil at this time, but we had some mechanical issues. So we’re disrupting the soil with the large tines instead
