I just tried to explain this on another post and they ripped me to pieces. State time and federal time is different. She will not be in jail for 1 year.

I thought if you were sentenced to a yr, you had to go to a prison? E.g. you are sentenced to a yr while having two months “time served” you still had to go to prison because the sentence was a yr?

What's the good time she's able to get? why do you think 3 or 4 months. Here in NM you only get 50% and these cases rarely get reduced after sentencing.
