JustEat cost most take aways MORE than their rent in fees to the restaurant. And the food listed there is usually 10%+ more expensive than direct. Then the consumer also pays fees. Rip off.

how is uber eats still going? everyone i know has stopped using uber eats for years because its literally the worst app ever. Constantly late, food missing or stolen, drivers not turning up, no refunds on food. Just eat is the only one ive had a good experience with

Deliveroo is rubbish the 2 times I’ve tried to use it they’ve not delivered and I had to get a refund it’s a matter of time before it goes under !

I stopped ordering because the fees got so excessive. A £15 takeaway turns into £20+ with fees, delivery, service charge etc etc.

I compared the bill of a KFC to the online from the same store, not only do they add the various charges and delivery but each item was 30-40% dearer thru the app. Total rip off.

i bet it’s mostly caused by a below average app. Uber eats is just so much more appealing, bigger pictures, more smooth UX, shows you that the board has no true ux experience

I've been using just eat for like 15 years. it's not like its a new thing. perhaps got too greedy during pandemic boom but its not like its a bad business model if it's been going for so long

They have also updates the app which drivers use over the last year or so which has led to it being extremely buggy and often freezes mid delivery meaning a customers order can't be fulfilled.
