I told my brother I was attracted to older men and usually that’s means a bad relationship with your own father, he said “oh maybe it’s bc you and dad have such a good relationship 😀”

Funny enough, telling my dad “my therapist said I dated an emotionally unavailable man 10 years my senior for a decade because I have daddy issues” helped motivate him to fix our relationship 😂

I honestly feel like I want the furthest thing away from my dad. Not because he was abusive, quite the opposite he was very chill, but my daddy issues stem mainly from tv father figures lol 😅
