As someone who grew up on the beach, I don’t agree. All that money goes to beach clean up and replenishment. After the shoobies/bennies leave, the beaches are trashed.

I go to beautiful beaches everywhere around the world for free and it’s clean. Go to the Jersey shore , I pay, it’s dirty, crowded, and I can’t take any alcohol.
