Kopi yang Santi pakai berasal dari Harimau Sumatera Roastery, memakai Arabica Bourbon, ditanam di ketinggian 1500 sampai 1600 mdpl, dengan natural water decaf process. Proses ini menarik karena decaf coffee tetap bisa punya karakter rasa yang jelas, meski kadar kafeinnya lebih rendah. Sebagai homebrewer, Santi cukup terkejut dengan hasil seduhannya. Persepsi manis pada kopi decaf ini terasa cukup tinggi, body tetap nyaman, lalu acidity dan floral notes justru hampir tidak muncul. Untuk pengalaman pertama, profil rasanya terasa sangat berbeda dari beberapa decaf coffee lain yang masih menyisakan acidity cukup jelas. The coffee came from Harimau Sumatera Roastery, using Arabica Bourbon beans grown at 1500 to 1600 MASL with a natural water decaf process. This method is interesting because decaf coffee can still keep a clear flavor profile even with lower caffeine content. As a homebrewer, Santi was genuinely surprised by the cup. The sweetness perception was quite high, the body stayed comfortable, and the acidity and floral notes were almost absent. For a first try, the flavor profile felt very different from other decaf coffees that still leave a more noticeable acidity.
