definitely looks like your lense is way to dark and meant for a full bluebird day. need a lowlight lense! i’ve only used my lowlight all season in japan

Yeah i bought the smiths 4D mag and they were totally worth it! They have really good visability at the bottom of the lens and lots of interchangeable lenses. I most leave the photochromatic lens on.

this is why I switched to light pink lenses that can be switched out for clear, it's so much easier to see. higher end goggles will also help with contrast but I'm poor, so light lenses it is

You can buy goggles that have multiple different lenses you can swap in and out for different light levels

Incorrect VLT. Especially for Japan the lenses you have will be terrible. Get something with pink or yellow lenses and use these for bluebird days.
