I taxidermy shop in Northwest Arkansas took my dad's trophy 19 point non-typical and my 14 point at the same time to do a wall mount with them together and he kept both mounts and then moved his shop

i dropped of a spike elk and they had me come for a deer sholder mount. took 9 months to get the right one.

there always a phone call, or messages between the taxidermist and customer, nobody ever just shows up with a deer. you get police to pull the phone call or the messages confirming which deer.

Taxidermist has to have a log. Every time I drop off a buck they give me a receipt for the deposit and the description.

shoot, I got my biggest white tail like 2 week's before covid, dropped it off at the taxidermist and I he shipped my cape off, didn't get it back for 2 year's. I was afraid I wouldn't even get it
