you could use stroke and coat for the detail work and it would stay put but still be glaze. you just need a more stable glaze

Love your design, I just wouldn’t use glaze for the design area, and instead use thickened underglaze or mason stain colored slip before bisque. You can do a clear glaze over if want it shiny.
