@bastianosis: Paganini surely is a synonym for virtuosity when it comes to the violin just like Liszt (whom Paganini greatly inspired) is for piano. His otherworldly skill baffled his contemporaries so much that indeed the romour started that he sold his sould to the devil to achieve such mastery.
