Some tips and tricks: 🩵 I applied the nail polish on a silicone mat (got mine from Moyou London), which made it super easy to peel them off 💚 I applied 3 coats of polish and let them dry for 1 hour to make them thick enough to handle and punch easily 💛 this is possible with gel, however, since gel is harder, it is more difficult to place flat on the nail. I recommend one extremely thin layer and using a gel polish with a dispersion layer, cause they tend to be a bit softer (just based on my experiments) 🧡 I used a “handle punch” to make the hearts! It was super easy and it’s the perfect size for nails 💅🏻 (you can find the one I’m using in my Amazon storefront, link in bio) ❤️ I recommend punching the hearts as you need them. I punched all of them in one go, but some of them were still soft and ended up sticking together 🥴 🩷 I used a @MOYOU LONDON stamper to place the hearts on my nails. I cleaned it with a piece of sticky tape first to remove any lint. 💜 I applied some nail polish remover on the hearts to make them lay flat and stick to the nail better 🩵 I applied a waterbased top coat to prevent smudging (see also my story highlight about this!) 💚 I applied 3 (?) coats of matte top coat to even out the bumpy hearts a bit Polish names & brands are listed in the comments!
