But she was stuck in victim mode—understandably so. Ladies, I get it. When you’re dealing with toxic people, it’s easy to feel powerless. She kept saying, “Nobody understands what I’m going through.” And while our situations weren’t identical, I completely understood her pain. But here’s what I needed her to see: staying in a victim mindset only keeps you stuck. Don’t waste your energy focusing on what’s missing or how unfair things are. Instead, shift your focus to building, growing, and stepping into abundance. Focus on love, peace, and everything that will help you thrive. Because the truth is, dwelling on lack will only keep you from getting where you need to be. You can live a happy life while co-parenting with a narcissist. I’m living proof. The question is—are you ready to take your power back?
