I have seen a lot more people saying that Dominican food is nasty. Personally, I wouldn’t try to convince anybody to like my ethnic food. Some people just like salt & think it’s “flavor”.

Sooo I’m lucky and get to eat my mother in laws food but I’ve also been to resorts there and it was bland. Nothing you can’t add seasoning too though. But they don’t use seasonings like that.

If he went to DR he need to go to any mom and pops restaurant at the side of the street he will taste the difference and can ask for la bandera or sancocho or mofongo or water and will be flavorful
