9pm usually is when fundição is opening, so dont worry too much about getting there "on time". but is good to arrive early to get a good place. you'll love it, its such a vibe :)

I think monobloco is too huge nowadays. I prefer smaller blocos, where you can be near the band, less crowded.

If I could give one tip, I would say avoid mega blocks. The chances of theft are greater and you enjoy less because of the large crowd of people
