It's a lose lose for the airline cause if they stuffed her somewhere out the way they would get sued by the deceased persons family. Its traumatic but not the airlines fault.

For airlines, this is protocol if someone passes away midflight. They can't remove the body until authorities come when they land. but they should cover the body.

When I was a kid, they asked if anyone was willing to swap seats. I did it to get away from my brother. Didn’t realize I was sitting next to a corpse until we landed.
