@the_fennec_guy: This Ramadan, as we break our fast with dates, let’s take a moment to check where they come from. Many dates labeled as ‘Product of Israel’ are actually grown on land that was stolen from native Palestinians, often in illegal settlements. By purchasing these dates, we may unknowingly support the occupation, apartheid, and oppression of the Palestinian people. But we have a choice. By boycotting Israeli dates and choosing ethically sourced alternatives, especially from Palestinian farmers, we can take a stand for justice, human rights, and freedom. This Ramadan, let’s make sure our iftar reflects our values. Check the label, support Palestinian farmers, and say no to apartheid.
