@early.explorer: Did you know.. only between approximately 10-30% of charity shop donations are actually resold?😩 We've managed to accumulate a hoard of materials over the years. From plastic straws that have been given to us from community hall clean outs, cardboard boxes from Christmas packages, milk tops, old shoelaces.. the list goes on. Naturally, having young children means, due to their quick growth, lots of clothing. We try to pass on old clothing to families we know personally to ensure they get used, but sometimes, that's not always an option. In the event be can't, we donate most to charity shops. But the ones that are stained or broken- basically deemed unsellable, I hold on to. I then try to repurpuse them in different ways. Busy books are a great option for this as they offer great practical life opportunities! I am also hoping to make some sensory tiles soon ✨️
