@elpaso.hotspots: We just visited the new Eastlake Yamaguchi location with a friend and had an absolute feast! It's just as good as their original location in Zaragoza 👌🏼 We started with some drinks. Lychee anything, sign us up! We also hit some strong but sweet notes with the Tokyo tea and Yamaguchi blossom 🌸 For the appetizers, we always must get Takoyaki. There are not many places to get it in El Paso and we really like it. Their Chashu buns evolved from our last visit, making them bigger and super loaded with pork belly. We also had chicken karaage, the sauce it came with was super tasty 🤭 Their ramen is a must have too, and of course their specialty. This time we tried the birria ramen (genius combination), the spicy miso (with many more delicious ingredients than what the name suggests), and the shrimp wonton with some large tempura shrimp and loaded with goodness 🍜 While we always go for the ramen, this time we gave a shot to their cream spicy shrimp. We really enjoyed it, it’s all in the name, very creamy and spici(er) than you would expect but very manageable. Their orange chicken with chili also has a kick, and the sauce is really good. Very recommended too 🤤 The place, like the other location, has a ton of anime and manga references, a dark-lit wall, and a manga wrapped bar. It’s a really cool place with some really good food.
