@translating_falasteen: #Ramadan has come to Jabalia. As the blessed month begins tomorrow, Muslims in Gaza will start their fast from sunrise to sunset, approximately 5 AM to 5:30 PM. In the spirit of spreading joy and light during these sacred days, we wanted to bring smiles to the faces of children in North Gaza. That’s why we distributed beautiful lanterns to children in Jabalia and in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City. Ramadan lanterns hold a special place in our hearts and traditions. They are not merely decorative items; they symbolize hope, guidance, and the illumination of our souls during a time of reflection and renewal. As families gather to celebrate, these lanterns light up the evenings, creating an atmosphere of warmth and festivity that transcends the challenges of daily life. They remind us that even during the most difficult of situations, the spirit of Ramadan, full of compassion, unity, and joy, can still manage to brighten our lives and communities.
