Stick with the old machines. they're so much better. I got a brand new Whirlpool washer $900, it put holes in my clothes. I went to the used appliance store and got me an old Kenmore.

Older washing machines could actually run with the top open. Detergent instructions use say add detergent while mashine is filling.

Keep the old ones. I have that exact washer and it’s outlived every other appliance. And last fix was $7 (broken coupler)

I have the exact same washer. I’ve had to replace the dogs in the agitator twice, and I bypassed the door switch. Still better than some of the newer stuff.

Lol, alternative to magic snippers is to shove a vacuum cap over the door switch. Works great.
