Fold pie edges over. Brush tart with 2 tbsp cream, sprinkle over cane sugar. 3. Bake 400F for 40 minutes. trout almandine 🐟 1. Season skin on trout or salmon filets w salt and pepper. Dredge in flour and pat off excess. 2. Heat 3 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp olive oil over medium high heat. Add filets flesh side down and sear until golden brown, 5-7 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until cooked. Remove to a plate. 3. Reduce heat to low. Add in 3/4 sliced almonds. Toast until golden. Pour over trout. Juice over lemons. brussels with apricot agrodolce 🍑 1. Roast halved brussels sprouts w olive oil and salt at 425F until browned. 2. Meanwhile add 3/4 apple cider vinegar, 1/4 honey, 1/2 diced dried apricot, 1/2 red onion sliced to a small pan and reduce over medium until syrupy. Spoon over brussels. crunchy truffle potatoes 🥔 1. Boil bite size skinned, cubed russet potatoes in water with salt and a sprinkle of baking soda until just tender. 2. Drain. Add 1/4 olive oil, 2 tsp garlic powder, truffle salt to taste. Toss to make them shaggy. 3. Bake at 425F until very golden brown.
