I hear the argument that rinsing first dilutes products more and the argument that you rub dirt and scrape alloys etc if you don’t rinse. So ya can’t win. I prewash, rinse, contact and rinse

Why wet your body before you shower ? Just apply body wash & scrub afterwards just dry & get out , call it a day

Rinse removes a lot of the dirt before touching it. Also use a wheel & tire cleaner like P&S to do both at the same time. Noticed you didn't touch the tire, but to each their own. Result looks good

Larry at AmmoNYC has been preaching this a few years. And he’s an S tier detailer. I don’t rinse anymore & the cleanliness has improved for sure

It’s not an unpopular opinion.. it’s common sense… you wouldn’t do that method on the paint so why wheels?

Foam dwell rinse foam… no gloves on harsh chemicals, cleaning the bores first brings all that grime and dust to the wheel face which you then scrub into the spokes

Im conflicted cuz i always follow the label of whatever chemical im using. Some say rinse first. Idk. I do find it works better without the rinse depending on the brand.
