@thesidingguy_: I bought this 3” cut off tool a few years ago to cut vinyl siding in the winter, it works okay and is versatile for home jobs like this. This is a metal shelf mounting system I had to cut down for a closet. Though it works okay, it won’t replace a grinder. You’ll see in this video it stalls a couple of times. I find it lacks “punch”. There are also other 3” cut-off tools on the market with a little bit more power since they have more voltage. This Milwaukee cut-off tool is 12 volts. Other brands have 18v or 20v of power.
