THE CHALLENGE: “fix this, but keep it somewhat long” - details below & shoutout to @babylissprousa for partnering with/me on this! Okay so step 1 - I started with the shortest side. It needed the most blending and I wanted to see what it looked like after I fully blended it to determine what I would do with the rest of the hair. In a real life situation, I would tell my client this exact thing. I would explain to them that in a corrective scenario like this, we kinda have to take this step-by-step. And I can only do my best to follow the parameters which would be to “keep it long-ish”. Step 1B - mirror the other side to match. Step 2 - blended the sides into the top, and debulked those crazy blunt nuggets of hair on the top of her head Step 3 - so she had a giant hole right in the middle of the back of her head. I think someone was practicing graduation and only got so far lol - so anyway, I decided to go with the “anime route” and make the perimeter dramatically piecey, shorter in the middle, longer on the outer edges, so that the shorter area in the back made sense. It looked cute smooth, but I also wanted to see what it would look like wavy, so of course I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try the diffuser attachment on my new Babyliss pro STYLE/SWITCH! I’ve been using this tool at the gym because it’s super lightweight, fits right in my gym bag & it’s super convenient having one tool do a bunch of different things 🙌 I took tons of footage, so let me know in the comments if you want a more detailed step-by-step of this haircut correction! #babylisspropartner #babylisspro #babylissproed #babylisspartner @babylissproed
