Yes! I’m the same kind of esthetician. It makes me so sad when I get women coming in and apologizing for doing or not doing something bc they think I’m going to shame or yell at them.

The only time I tweak is when my clients don’t use SPF 😔 but also if they work indoors and away from windows I let it slide - otherwise, if u like it I LOVE it

Esti here too, and 💯 agree. 👏🏻 I promote consistent routine, sunscreen and recs IF they want. I think it’s a turn off for clients to get a sales pitch, badgered or bossed around. 🤷🏻♀️

Sometimes I have people come in who have never had a facial before and they use soap and water as their skincare routine and their skin is perfect. I think a lot of it comes down to genetics!
