@yazathletix: Lessons I learned this past year 1-Feeling sorry for myself will NOT accomplish anything. In fact, it’s just a gateway to “victim” mindset. 2-Most people will lie or hide to avoid hard conversation or responsibility for their actions or choices. 3-the more I avoided doing hard things, the more stuck I felt. 4-earned dopamine from doing hard things and accomplishing tasks will build you up. Cheap dopamine from instant gratification (scrolling, binging, procrastinating ..)will destroy your will power to achieve your goals . 5-can’t save who doesn’t want to be saved. 6-if everyone showed up for their health with the same sense of obligation they use to show up for their jobs. No one will be unhealthy 7-people will do more to avoid pain than they will do to gain pleasure. 8-thinking is the root of all suffering. It’s thinking that convinces all of us to do something or discourages us from doing it. 9-your feelings will get you NO WHERE. Reality doesn’t care about feelings, it only cares about FACTS AND ACTION. 10-as humans, we are negative by nature. It takes effort to be positive and that’s why we miss out on opportunities because we can’t see through our negativity
