These could be very concrete problems like insufficient infrastructure, traffic congestions on the fast rail, or when many foreign laborers gather in one place during the weekend and the water doesn't flow. Singaporeans may feel like that place isn't Singapore anymore. So naturally, there would be a response. We can solve this directly. We can improve our infrastructure, and we can improve the services of our fast subway. These can be done. What's harder to do is dealing with differences in habits, cultures, and backgrounds between ethnic groups. Even when there's completely the same culture, language, race, if you look at certain places, you'd know there's a noticeable difference between the locals and foreigners. So, this conflict isn't so easy to resolve. We must strive to make both sides understand. You are a guest in Singapore. We welcome you, but we hope you understand our social atmosphere in Singapore, our culture and customs, our usual demeanor here. We hope you can slowly adapt and become a part of our society. For Singaporeans, we must make everyone understand, these foreign talents, migrants, workers are very necessary for us. Partners, friends, some could be our future fellow citizens. We must be able to accept them, be able to help them integrate into our society, be able to tolerate each other's differences.
