It happens all the time and I just think - where is the responsibility from these companies? The amount of empty plastic in these “pancake shakers” is criminal. Please do the right thing and save us the unnecessary additives and save the planet the unnecessary plastic 👎 It’s very simple to make pancake batter and your pancakes will end up being much better value than these pancake shakers. Below is a simple recipe for pancake tuesday! Enjoy and remember to resist the supermarket gimmicks 💪 Ingredients: 100g plain flour 2 eggs 300ml milk Method: 1. Sift the flour into a bowl and make a well in the centre. 2. Break the eggs into the well and add a little bit milk. 3. Using an electric whisk or balloon whisk, beat well and gradually add the remaining milk into the mixture, whisking until smooth. 4. Heat a frying pan and when hot add a little butter. 5. Pour a small amount of the batter onto the pan and swirl it around until it is thinly spread over the bottom. 6. Cook for about 1 minute or until the edges are curling. 7.
