I've heard you should change both cv axles if ones broke same as struts do em in pairs, in my first year of automotive haven't done axles yet js curious

I got the 4.0 i6 with 60k miles on the dot and has no issues only thing that has been replaced is the tires

Use a similar technique to get the bearing out but I normally put a socket on the hub bolts and use the power steering to pop it out. All solid axle jobs I do this

With the CV axle, what kinda noise would that start making if it was going? I have a ‘16 cherokee and when i turn tight left, Im hearing a light grinding sound! Any help would be appreciated brother
