5min early is a LIE 2min is perfect, you’re probably all done with preparing or what ever you do before someone comes over so its not too early and you wont delay anything 2min it is

it is 15 minutes earlier to have room for unforeseen delays plus you take not the last, but the bus/train etc before, if you miss one or one gets cancelled.

Everything depends on the person you want to meet. Students are often 15 minutes late, while workers are 5-10minutes earlier. Hope that helps with the confusion.
